1. Services We Offer
GoGeeks Pty Limited provides comprehensive IT solutions and technical support for businesses and individuals, including:
- Computer repairs, installations, and setup
- Virus, spyware, and malware removal
- Data backup and recovery services
- Custom PC builds
- Networking, internet troubleshooting, and Wi-Fi setup
- Remote and onsite IT support
2. Services Agreement
2.1 No Fix, No Fee Policy
If we are unable to repair your device, you won’t be charged for the technician’s service. However, this policy has the following exceptions:
- Diagnostic Fees: Fees for diagnostic assessments may still apply.
- Declined Repairs: If a solution is identified, but you choose not to proceed, charges for diagnostics and initial efforts may still apply.
- Non-Refundable Services: Costs associated with parts replacement, software installation, or other services where returns are not possible.
2.2 Diagnosis and Quotation
- An initial diagnosis and quotation for repairs will be provided.
- If you decline the quotation or repairs are not possible due to unavailable parts, a diagnostic fee may apply.
2.3 Exclusions from the No Fix, No Fee Policy
This policy does not cover:
- Data Recovery Services: Attempts to retrieve lost or corrupted data.
- Virus and Spyware Removal: Issues involving extensive infections or compromised systems.
- Third-Party Service Issues: Problems caused by external providers (e.g., Internet Service Providers).
- Power Surge Damage: Issues arising from electrical surges or faulty power supply.
3. Cancellations and Rescheduling
3.1 Cancellations
- Service appointments, including onsite visits, may be canceled by giving at least 24 hours’ notice.
- Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee equivalent to the cost of the first hour of onsite service to compensate for lost time and expenses.
3.2 Rescheduling
- Appointments may be rescheduled with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.
- Rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a rescheduling fee.
4. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure timely and effective service, customers are required to:
- Provide all necessary software, licenses, and original documentation.
- Supply any passwords or credentials needed for diagnostics and repairs.
- Failure to provide these items may result in delays, additional charges, or an inability to complete the service.
5. Approval of Repairs
- Repairs will only commence with your explicit approval.
- A detailed scope of work and associated costs will be communicated before starting.
6. Warranty
- Hardware repairs are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty where applicable.
- Warranty claims do not cover issues caused by user misuse, negligence, or interference.
7. Limitations of Liability
GoGeeks Pty Limited is not responsible for:
- Data loss during repairs. Customers are advised to back up important data before service.
- Damages caused by user-supplied hardware, software, or components.
8. Payment Terms
- Payments are due immediately upon service completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Unpaid invoices may incur additional fees, interest, or penalties.
